Heating, Hot water & More Ltd

Domestic Boilers

Looking to service, repair or even install a new boiler. We at Heating, Hotwater & More! only use the most efficient and reliable products available. Our engineers are fully trained and qualified in Gas, LPG, and Oil appliances.

Boiler breakdown!

Cold water, no central heating or both means you've got a boiler breakdown! When this unfortunate event happens contact Heating, Hotwater & More! for a speedy response time and a quick diagnosis to your boiler. If possible we will fix onsite or we will fast source parts at a good price to get your boiler back up and running. Unfortunately most of us have to work during the day and can't just take time off to hang around waiting for an engineer. So Heating, Hotwater & More! offer early morning and late afternoon/evening appointments to help with this. As well as normal working hours.

Contact us for an appointment and we will offer you advice on just what is needed for your boiler to get it working safely and efficiently again

Servicing

To keep your boiler working safely and efficiently at all times, and to reduce the risk of breakdowns, manufacturers recommend your boiler is serviced every year. What's more, an annual service could save you as much as 10 - 15% off your household energy bills.

We work with all the domestic boiler manufacturers including: Vaillant, Baxi, Potterton, Main, Viessmann, Ariston, Biasi, Ferrolli, Ideal, Keston, Saunier Duval, Worcester and many, many more.

Efficiency

Central heating systems consume large quantities of energy and if running inefficiently their energy loss is substantial and costly. By installing a new high efficiency condensing boiler and a full set of heating controls you will be both more energy efficient and more reliable.

Boilers are rated using a system called SEDBUK (Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK), boilers are rated from A to G with A being 90% and above and G being below 60% efficient. An A rated boiler will save as much as 30% against an old G rated appliance.

At Heating, Hotwater & More! We only install SEDBUK A-rated condensing boilers which, according to the Government's Efficiency Best Practice Programme, are the best energy efficient boilers available.

Energy efficient boilers also emit less CO2 (carbon dioxide) which means that you are also doing your part for the environment.

Which boiler?

Combination boiler

Combi boilers, as they are commonly known, provide central heating and instant hot water at the turn of a tap. The combi heats only the water you use, so it’s economical, yet will not run out of hot water. No waiting for the cylinder to heat up, also there is no tanks or pipes in the loft to freeze. The combi is ideal for today’s modern lifestyle, and its space saving too.If you are interested in converting to a combi please contact us we will conduct a free no obligation site survey to assess the size of your property, occupants, lifestyle and  location options.

Combination storage boiler

Bigger properties with higher hot water usage can have problems with a flow rate reduction on the hot water. This can be overcome by fitting a combination storage boiler. Now you can use more taps simultaneously, without an unacceptable drop in performance. The advantage of this system over a conventional boiler and storage tank is that the hot water never runs out. Even after running a bath, a combi storage boiler doesn't need time to recover before you can use it again. So there's no need to plan your hot water requirements, hot water is always there. If you are interested in converting to a combi please contact us we will conduct a free no obligation site survey to assess the size of your property, occupants, lifestyle and location options.

System Boiler

Like conventional boilers, a system boiler can provide central heating and hot water from a cylinder if required. The key difference with a system boiler is that all the major components are built in to the boiler. For example the pump, normally installed remote from the boiler, is built in; so is the expansion vessel, which replaces the feed/expansion tank often installed in the loft. The safety valve, the automatic air vent and even the programmer are included within the boiler. With these components built in, installation time is reduced significantly, fewer materials are required, costs are reduced and servicing is simplified. The added bonus of a "dry loft" removes the worry of any leak or frost damage to tanks and pipe work. If you are interested in converting to a  system boiler with unvented hot water  or thermal store system please contact us we will conduct a free no obligation site survey to assess the size of your property, occupants, lifestyle and location options.

Condensing boilers

Most combination and system boilers are supplied as Condensing boilers. They maximises the fuel efficiency by pre heating the cooled water returning from the central heating system in a secondary heat exchanger. This heat exchanger is warmed by the hot flue gases, which would normally be expelled to the outside air. This causes the flue gases to cool and condense hence the name Condensing boiler. This means less energy  is needed to raise the temperature of the central heating water in the main heat exchanger. Giving you Dramatic savings on fuel consumption.
